Three MTT wins in as many days :)

Can't remember too much, played on xmas eve due to the overlays...played in about 12 tournos on stars and two on yahoo, and two on party poker.

One on stars i was staked into on the blondeforum, and managed to cash for $95ish, managed a couple of small cashes in stars, and also again in the $11r, for the third time in as many attempts

Lost a sick pot in the $3r with a flopped flush, all in on flop to just a pair! running 4s gave him a full house! However, the yahoo torno made up for it, i won 99 V QQ blind on blind with 4 left :) Only like 60 runners but was a 45e buyin, i think thats around £42, or 65USD?? Not much to report on it except players are donkeys on there

Also took down a $6 on pp with 290 odd people, managed to lose a big pot AK V AQ just before the FT, but pulled it back together, even offeredthe guy heads up a deal, i had like 65% of chips and he said 50-50 so i refused, and smashed him the hand after loooooooooool

Today after the villa arsenal game, i shot up some tornos again, a $1r and $6r on PP, 3k, and 10k gtds respectively, and also the same $6 i won two nights ago, but with 300 more players, several on stars, 4 tornos on FTP (managed one cash in one of the doubles) - lost AA V TT in A near the bubble, and in B i lost KJ (me) V JT blind on blind battle. Sigh.

However i was running good in the $11r, and $11 f/o on stars, but yet agai managed to get screwed around the bubble of the $11r...but scraped through to get paid in that, and lost a big flip AK V QQ in the $11 deepish.

Had huge stcks in the $1r, $6r, and the same $6 freezeout i won. The $1r, cant remember if i got paid or not but lost AK V AJ to cripple me in that, and the $6 freezeout, with about 25 of the 550 left i ran Ks into As, fml

However the $10k gtd was a different story, first hand, i had 99 and raced against AQ and AQ, and held, to go to 18k after one hand at like 10/20 blinds lmao. Ran into some donks from here and had AK holding up V various aces EVERY time (wtf??) from the 592 entrants down to the pay out positions. Also had a guy called "sarfend" on my table with the SUFC logo - when i kncked him out i put WE HATE SOUTHEDN, lol jokes

However down to 3 tables i pulled off a good move (IMHO LOL), mid pos AT ssooooooted i raise it up (im 2nd out of 30 in chips), guy who is the leader calls behind on the button in position, and the bb shoves 90k, wen i held a 450k stack at 8k 4k blinds, so i reshove, button time bnks it saying JJ in chat, and the board comes..

He slowly tilted off calling someone off with AK on Qxxxx board, and then the same thing the hand after when i had JJ on JXXXX board, and he called me off with ace high again lmao.

Then with two tables left, i won two flips, and then got unlucky losing AK V A5, and then the final table bubble AK to AJ, so i entered the final table in about 7/10 when I was 2/10 with 12 left.

2 guys bust early, and i chippe along buying some blinds. Not action until 6 left, i double, and then a HUGE hold v the chip leader with 5 left TT V KQ :). I then knocked him out with aces v k7, and another guy bust, and with 3 left had 3M to both of theirs 1.6M. I then had AK/AQ 4 out o about 7 hands, and took it up to about 4M with them both on 1M at 80k 40k lol. One other busted and it was heads up my 4M to his 2M, he kept giving me continious walks, and i wanted to deal to ensure i got over $2k, was there was like a $1k difference between 1st and 2nd, but u cant for rebuys apparently. I then picked up aces, min raised, he shoved with 5s, and i held FTW WIIIIII!

Put in 100e onto yahoo poker on the boss network in an attempt to qualify for the 1kE event, and then realised the only decent satellites were 55E rebuys. fuck that.

Ended up playing 25e rebuy, and a 22e freezeout, and 1e rebuy, after winning a small heads up to fund it.

came 12th out of 208 in the 25E rebuy. Internet went down with 13 left n blinds were crazy, tilted me

and came 18th out of 500+ in the 1r. sigh

Had a small go last night, not much to note, had 40k stack 2/100 left from 850 starting in a 26usd on FTP, top 90 paid, managed to come 94th. WP ME

Had a small session last night, of about $250 worth of tournos, the most expensive being the $55 and $22 1R1A on stars...had a decent stack with over half the field gone in the $221r1a and then threw it away, and in the $55 ran JJ into AK and KK, when i had 10 bbs, and was all between the button, sb, and bb!

However, i went deep in two tournos, managing a 9th out of over 2500 entrants in the $5.50 on stars, and a 2nd out of 460 odd in the $11 knockout on FTP, with 5 knockouts weee. Heads up was frutrating as ran ATdd into AJ with the board coming KXTXQ, and then hand after AQ V 33 with the board coming QXK3X. Sigh.

Finished about $375 up though...will play next on Monday or Tuesday next week.

Ain't played much poker recently. Been busy at work and got a couple of exams.

Managed to pick up a couple of scores which left me with $2k profit on party poker in those buy 1 get 1 free offers last month.

Also managed to win a bet, a 5er on pab at 125! Will deposit $600 on stars, and $400 on party poker, and maybe a small amount on full tilt for over xmas, with these winnings ive had.

Maybe also, ill be allowed to play in the blogger qualifiers on stars which are coming up!

So, been a while, had no laptop..Me and Henry lost 500 USD, leaving us with 1600. We have got 600 on cake (with rakeback), and i cashed out 570 which i put onto interpoker, and henry has similar on another site for himsel, which he has mostly cashed out.

Had a bad run. Deposited 300 on stars, which i lost very quick. Then went round moormans and he staked me into 400usd of tornos, including the sunday mill, which i got 3 outtered on, all in on turn, 3 outter river. Nice. Went deep in one, managed 12th, in a 3000 player 55 FO. 22k FTW dfgdfghdfgfikl;a, was 2 out of 20 too.

I also put 300 on FTP, and had this win below, been well deserved, had many deep finishes wih like 50 dollar payouts as I lose every flip after the bubble. That was good for 1.2k, which i have cashed out, and got 250usd left on there. Had a few other FT bubbles recently, so im playing better but keep getting annoyed with myself for not making more. From the staking, i ended up 300 up, after sending the rake back and taking 50 perecent, which i cashed out after going up and down with the balance (many badbeats which i cant be bothered to find and post)

So now got just under 250 on tilt, and 300 each on cake. Wanted to cash the rest off tilt but 1200 was my max withdrawal as i bubbled two FT yesterday and has tilted me majorly. LOL.

So in total, i have deposited 710USD and cashed out 2100USD approximately, plus 600 between me and henry on cake, and 250 on tilt.

Just to make it easy, I will just say our TOTAL roll is circa 1.5K on FTP, giving me a MAX buyin of 15USD, and cash tables I can use 75USD. So tonight I will hopefully be playing a small 2-3 hour session in:

- SNGs (Anything from 1r-11usd)
- Cash (75USD on 3 X 15c/25C tables)
- Also, with the PP roll being 260USD, I will be using the leeway on the FTP roll to enable myself to play in some 3USD SNGs (30-50 players + step tornos)

No multis tonight. That will be Friday night :)

Been lazy, and busy - haven't kept to my aims due to this.

So now, me and a friend deposited 35USD each about 2months ago ~roughly onto full tilt poker.

We now have around 1620USD between us, with our peak being about 1800ish $$$

We went down to our last torno 3 times due to tilt. twice coming 2nd in a 45 $24 sit n go, and taking 2nd both times, and the other i entered a $109 F-O, and made the FT, finishing about 7th i think for 500ish, when i busted KK < JJ AIPF.

Since that cash we have never gone below that amount, and are trying to build to a roll of $10K for Vegas in 2009. Possible, only if we can one time, or maybe twice run well deep in a MTT. It ain't happening at the moment and we keep chipping away with scores of $100-200ish and then losing some, and getting a score again.

Also purchased poker tracker, so will delete all my hand history, and start that afresh.

And have also deposited $50 each on PartyPoker. Managed to ship a $6 110 player, so we now have about $260 on there between us, as the players r poor on here.

So now i'll try and keep this blog uptodate.

A couple of rules for tornos are:

no SNG buyin > 1% of TOTAL roll
no MTT buyin > 0.5% of TOTAL roll
Rebuys, rebuy until add-on period, always add on. No rebuy greater than 0.25% of TOTAL roll.

Cash rules:

Always buy in for the MAXIMUM.
Total cash game buyin accross all simultaneous tables is 5% of TOTAL roll. I.e roll of $1000, we can slap out $50 accross 5 cash tables of 10c/5c, as we have to buyin for the maximum. OR, $25, accross two tables of 25c/15c.

As you can see, none of these bets actually came off, and since lost the remainder, lol. I have also cashed out 410 pounds more on Fullonpoker, and have about 250 pounds left.

Also, me and my friend played in a satellite freeroll to the sunday 200k gtd on fullonpoker, 215 buyin, and split anything if we qualified and got paid. My friend won, and then fourth hand on the sunday, AA went in pre flop, and lost to QQ obv. What a joke. And within minutes my AA lost to 44 preflop, in a 20usd freezeout.

I have been watching online tutorial videos for MTTs, as my friend moorman is staking me. Last night was the first go at this:

$10K gtd, $22 Rebuy Party Poker: 64/298. Lost just under 60K pot JJ V QQ.

$18K gtd, $55 F/O, Party Poker: 159/499. Can't remember what happened here. Lol.

$22R1A, Pokerstars: 144/495. Lost decent size pot AA v 77, and could not recover.

$55k gtd, $55 F/O, Pokerstars: 248/1422. Had just under ave stack. Cold called KK, quite late position, hoped BB would shove. He called instead. He had J10, and obv flopped a straight, and i busted, lol. My play was too risky.

$8.5k gtd, $22 Rebuy, FTP: 16/215, Returns $77. Folded KK on Q9X flop, two all ins before me. One had Q6, other had 10/8 off. Rofl. If i had called, would have been in 4th place with about 60 left. Never really recovered.

$15K gtd, $55 F/O, FTP: 34/340. Returned $77. Lost AA V 88 i think it was just before bubble. Managed to hold on. Went out with A5 V QQ. No suckout for me there.

So about $210 down from the staking.

Should have probably played KK better, and would have then probably cashed in that. If i called with KK, i would have been in a great position too in the $8.5k Gtd. But, I think i need to bully a little more, deeper into the MTTs.

Lets hope the next attempt goes better :)

The Auzzie millions qualifier was a disaster. I was dealt AK hearts 5 hands into the rebuy period, and it ended up all in pre flop Vs JJ, and i lost the race. Did not want to waste $55+ on rebuying. FT was full of donks too.

Current balance is at £1062, but I am now playing in a $30 F/O, $10K Gtd double stack on full-on poker....Only twenty minutes in, so I will see how this goes, as i won three $10 HUs, and am using this to fund it.

Came 36/400ish in $10 F/0, blinds got too big.

$1R, could not win a race, was a waste of time.

Came 9th/390ish in the $0.50C R for about $10 haha. Spent $1.50.

Then played in a $5 R, 40 players. Did not rebuy, or add on, and won a seat in the $55R for the auzzie mills, top 2 at the moment getting a seat, worth about $12.5k i think. Wish me luckkkkkkkkkk

Since i last posted, i had my pkerstars balance to around $450, from the $15 deposit. Proceeded to lose $250 and cash out $190. Tilted from several bad beats.
Then deposited $50 on FTP, and built this up to $375. Tilted, and cashed out $200.
I then get paid $10 in a freeroll on fullonpoker (ipoker). Lose this.
Log in one day with £0.47p on a/c. I play a 50c 6 player. In chat I name nearly all the hands i play, and i still manage to win the $2ish. I then play four dirty dozens. I win all four and take down $2k! lolllllllll

so now i will just continue playing and trying to build this bankroll up on fullon, and will keep track of this on here

Finally have the internet - time to start playing

It has been ages since my last post, but i I only just got the internet installed a couple of days ago. I will now be able to play more regularly, and hopefully reach my target a lot quicker. In the meantime, my balance is now just over 400 USD, and played a short session last night where i won 10 out of 11 11 dollar heads ups, and won one and half buyin on one 0.10/0.25 cash table.

Im going by a couple of rules, where any multi buy in cannot be for more than 2% of my bankroll, and any sit and go 45 players and under must be 5% or under of my bankroll. And, as for cash tables, i cannot play on any table where the money out on the table is more than 50% of my bankroll. I.e if there are 6 people on the table with 25 dollars out, i need a bankroll of 600USD to play on this. But last night there were only 3 on the table...sometimes four, but i was around the 50% mark. I have gone against these rules a couple of times by entering the odd 22 dollar heads up when having a few harsh beats, but a lot less than usual, and i would have donked off the rest of the bankroll on other days. I seem to be doing quite well in the heads ups, so i might play a few more of these tonight, and perhaps a few of the 4.40 dollar 180 players tournos, which i seem to suck in, but the players are useless. I will probably enter a few 45 player sit and go's.

Hopefully i can come out in profit and increase the balance, so i can play in a few multis tournos, and maybe a full short handed cash table of 0.10/0.25. I have made a record of some hands, but it is pointless showing them now, as i have only played for the odd half hour where i could use someones wireless connection. So, i will try and keep some histories of some interesting hands if i play tonight, and post them up later.

I have played poker since February 2006. I started playing on the play money section on Pacific Poker, after hearing about my friends success. After learning the ABC of poker, i deposited about $30, and took it up to just over $100 on cash tables only. I cashed this out as i got bored of the Pacific site. The next site i decided to play on was William Hill (Crpto?). I put about £10 on the site. I won a couple of small sit and go tournaments. By end of June, i had won about £400 worth on multi tournaments, with a couple of first places in a £2.25, and a £5.50 multi included in that. I then cashed most of this out, and lost the rest, and explored a new poker site, party poker. I play on this from July to August, and finished about even, so i was still in a reasonable amount of profit for a new player.

When i went back to university i just decided to play a small amount on William Hill again, and a site with freerolls on, which my friend (moorman1) told me about.. - FullOnPoker. They had a daily dishout each evening, and i won a couple of these and just used this money to muck around with and eventually lost it each time. I was perhaps about £50 down from September to December.

Moorman then told me to play on Victor Chandler (student poker), which i did. They had many freerolls each week for students at university. I then won two of these in my second week of trying, each for $200. Before this, i also won a 700 player 60c buyin torno, haha, for a nice $90 at the time..

These wins gave me a bit more confidence, and gained about another $400-500 on multis on VC. My university housemate, Henry (bragunn) then wanted to make a joint account so we could share the buy in and play in higher stake multis. This turned out to be a good move. We deposited about $50 each accross a couple of poker sites..which we lost. We then took a more go at it, but put about $50 between us on VC. We made a schedule of the Friday tournos on the old network to take up all of the $50, a few low stake buy ins, and one large buy in.

It didnt start too well, and were just left in the 3.5K gtd tourno. Think it was a $24 buyin, with about 220 runners. The internet went down for 30 mins (Tiscali), so we were quite pissed off, and we returned to a hand of AK soooooted, and a raise and a caller before us i think, and we shoved, and ended up tripling up. We ended up taking the tourno down for about $1.8K ($900 each). Not bad. We took out this, and lost the original deposit. We then put the min deposit $50 on Pokerstars between us, and on our last $22, we wented one of their 180 player sngs. Down to the last couple, i got moorman to help, and heads up, there was a hand a can remember...

We had KJ, he had QQ, i raised, he re raised, i called...flop A J X. He bet, and moorman told me to fold, i said fck it, im shoving, i shoved, he folded QQ..he thought i had the ace, and then took it down for $1080.

I then hit a barren spell, and probably lost about $300 over the next 3 months, and did shit in the semi final of the VC student qualifier, and missed out on a top 18 place. I then watched videos on pokerxfactor courtesy of moorman to help my game. I then took a month off for exams, and on mine and henrys joint account, we entered a sunday freeroll on full on, prizepool of $250. I think this was $75 for first place, but we ended up getting third for $20 i think. I was going to bed and Henry decided to play in a $5 "maui" sit and go, which he won...and shouted out, but wasnt too bothered. He then started another, and wanted me to help, so i did. We won the second one, and the third. If you win five in a row, you win the jackpot (min $15K, increasing at $3.5k each it is not won).

We then decided to enter two at once. We won one, when the other was down to heads up..and the guy shoved when we had nut flush, on the turn. He had two pair...him hitting a full house on the river i am not sure what would have happened. Luckily he did not. Shame the jackpot was only $15k at the time...

Uni finished, and me and Henry put down $700 between us of this money, after cashing out the rest. We put it on pokerstars (bad move). Had an incredible run of being screwed over. We went down to about $100, and Henry came about 5th in a 2400 player multi for about $700 to take us to about $1000. We then lost this but continiously getting screwed over, and perhaps some tiliting. I also won a million seat, which i cashed out and also lost. It is for this reason i am making a blog - need to improve my poker bankroll management, as i have many times taken $10-15 to $150-200 and then lost it. I did however, come joint first in a deal on partypoker for $950 each in a $22 multi, and cashed out around $300 more on VC/fullon. But, i need to improve my bankroll management, and stop tilting, as i could have won a lot more, and i think a blog is a good way to do this..

I do not have that much time to play as im working full time as an auditor in luxembourg, but i hope to generate a little amount of income from poker, and cos it is fun. I do not have internet where i am at the moment, but when i do i will update this blog everyday i play. I have started with $30 on pokerstars (ahh). I have built this up to about $140 so far just on small sit and gos so far, and will see how far it goes..

A rule i will set myself - no buyins greater than $15 until/if bankroll surpasses $500.

My aim - $3500 balance on pokerstars account. I have not set a time scale yet, as i do not know how much i will be playing with work, and exams..Wish me luck, i will need it, as it is jokerstars..
